Carolyn Wyse - the team who work for youCarolyn Wyse BSc (Hons) BVM&S CertAVP (EM) MRCVS

Director and Veterinary Surgeon.

Carolyn grew up in Fontainebleau in France- surrounded by equine athletes and Olympic riders and always wanted to be a vet. She studied at Edinburgh university qualifying in 2009 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery.

Carolyn then carried on her training  in California as an Intern working for Alamo Pintado Equine Medical Centre learning from some of the best medics out there. She then returned to Suffolk to work for an equine clinic for 11 years.

She is married to Simon and has two amazing daughters and a variety of pets who keep her very busy when not at work!

 

Emma Wade Emma Wade BVMSci (Hons) MRCVS 

Assistant Veterinary Surgeon.

Emma qualified from Surrey university in 2023 and began working for Linkswood Equine straight away. Emma will be a familiar face to most, as she spent a lot of time in the area achieving her hours for ‘seeing practice’ whilst studying. She has a keen interest in charity work, medicine cases and endocrine disease but also enjoys routine work (she says it is lovely to see patients when they are well!)

In her spare time Emma follows the rugby and loves walking her Jack Russel Kanga.

Kita Hull Equine Veterinary Surgeon

Kita Hull BVetMed BSc(Hons) MRCVS

Kita qualified from The Royal Veterinary College in 2022 and worked in a referral hospital as an intern for the first 18 months of her career. She then spent a short period in a rural practice in Suffolk before coming back to Essex where she grew up, joining the team at Linkswood Equine.
She has a keen interest in neonatal medicine and enjoys all aspects of sport horse work. Kita has her own TB mare who she is retraining, alongside a GSD pup who comes to work and you may end up meeting at calls, and a rescue cat.
When not at work Kita can be found riding her horse, walking her dog, or at an easel producing pastel portraits.

 

 

Hailey Harvey - the team who work for youHailey Harvey REVN A1

Director and Registered Equine Veterinary Nurse.

Hailey Qualified from Hartpury College in 2006. Prior to setting up Linkswood Equine Vets, Hailey worked for a local veterinary practice for 27 years. Hailey has a passion for high quality nursing, she will provide a gold standard care to your horse both in the field and clinic. From ensuring your horse is comfortable, to making sure the day runs smoothly and that staff are happy. Kind and caring, she will advocate for patients ensuring their care is always top notch.

Passionate about all aspects of animal welfare, she also runs a successful wildlife not for profit organisation in her little spare time! If this wasn’t enough, she’s a mother of two boys! She enjoys socialising with friends and spending time with her family.

 

Holly StewardHolly Stevens

Admin.

Holly has previously spent 9 years as a veterinary receptionist and so we are super lucky to have such an experienced member in the team. She is kind, caring and patient and best of all she knows what it is like to have a horse needing care. She is the friendly, helpful voice on the end of the phone when you need us.

Outside of work Holly is a busy lady with her two wonderful children Joshua and Rosalie, her retired British Sport Horse Dimples and rescue Labrador Cooper.

Nursing assistant and admin.

Eyrin may be a familiar face already due to her previous job as a receptionist for Linkswood Veterinary centre. Previously Eyrin has also worked on a busy competition yard ensuring all the horses are turned out and cared for to a high standard.

Eyrin has two of her own rescue horses Malachi and Will which she enjoys riding and competing in her spare time.
